bookslut, the Times Online is claiming to be publishing an excised original chapter from Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. Either this is a *very* good fanfic - and frankly it doesn't read like a parody, and the only reason I am mentioning the possibility is that I would feel like an idiot if it were a joke and I presented it as fact - or Dahl had originally conceived that book to be even darker than it was. Ouch.
